The gyrokinetic toroidal code (GTC) is a massively parallel, particle-in-cell code for simulations of turbulence and transport in fusion plasmas such as ITER. GTC is the production code of DOE SciDAC projects GPS and GSEP. GTC is the NERSC benchmark suite and part of the pioneering application on the 250TF computer jaguar at ORNL.
